Mojave Rangers serve a variety of missions using modular combinations of 2 different teams. The Rifle Team and Support Team can split and reassemble elements for various operations. Mojave Rangers work in 2-person buddy teams in several roles; fire teams, medic teams, radio and tech teams or street patrols, and all teams can mix and match elements to meet the situation.
A Mojave Ranger Rifle Team consists of nine troopers, led by a Sergeant and divided into two four-person fire teams: Alpha and Bravo. Each fire team includes a team leader (corporal), an automatic rifleman, a grenadier, and a rifleman.

Weaponry
- Team Leaders, Asst. Team Leaders and Riflemen: Typically armed with Service Rifles, with some team leaders potentially carrying a pistol grip shotgun for breaching.
- Automatic Riflemen: Armed with Browning Automatic Rifle light machine guns.
- Grenadiers: Armed with Service Rifles and equipped with an M79 grenade launcher
The Ranger Rifle Team is the basic patrol unit in the western Mojave. Rifle Teams run basic security patrols and serve as reinforcements for Ranger Support Teams and other operations.
The Rifle Teams consists of 3 Ranger NCO’s and 6 PFC Riflemen. The Ranger Rifle Team can split into variations of Team Leader and 2 fire teams or 4 sniper teams. As a rule, the Ranger with the duster and the mask, seemingly acting alone, is just the bait.
Rifle Teams use FRS radios for team communications and to communicate with patrol bases in the local area.
Ranger Rifle Teams escort 1st SFG Medics and RTO’s to various bases and settlements and escort merchant caravans passing through the western Mojave. Rifle Teams run patrol routes throughout the western Mojave.
PFC’s in the Ranger Basic Course may apply to train with a Ranger Team on a space available basis. Priority on Ranger Teams is given to Ranger Basic Course graduates with the Expert Rifleman’s Bar.
A Ranger Support Team is 9 specialists who reinforce and support the basic Ranger missions. A Ranger Support team splits into 2 support teams with RTO’s and Medics.

Mojave Ranger Support Teams serve as technical reinforcements for various operations. Alpha and 1st SFGs can split with 1 team at the patrol base and the other augmenting a Rifle Team or 1st SFG team.
Ranger Support Teams cover several missions. Support Teams set up small first aid clinics in settlements, provide radio messaging service and technical assistance for local settlers.
