The Vista de Nada General Store is the retail operation that supports the fort and Ranger Troops. The VdN General Store carries airsoft guns and gear, NCR flags and accessories and crafts and goods from wasteland crafters and artists.
Vista de Nada Shop Keepers
The Vista de Nada Shop Keepers are the Wasteland vendors, artists and craftsmen who add their products to the Vista de Nada General Store catalog and help staff the shops at Vista de Nada. The product sales are a way to pay for real-world expenses like toilets and insurance.
Products from Wasteland Authors, Artists and Musicians Wanted
The Vista de Nada General Store is looking for products from Wasteland Authors, Artists and Musicians who have products that can be included in the PX catalog.
Wasteland vendors whose products are carried through the Vista de Nada General Store get more exposure for their products, directly to their target demographic. Each month the Wasteland News catalog-zine and monthly comic get distributed by our Affiliated Clubs in their local areas.
Ranger Training Teams will be at flea markets and events in LA and Vegas and game cons and other shows in the central valley around Fresno by winter, 2026.
Wasteland Gallery and the Vista de Nada General Store
The project is funded through the Vista de Nada General Store and Wasteland Gallery, and other shops at Vista de Nada.
Wasteland Gallery is one of the 10×10 shops at Mojave Station and features post apocalyptic fine art in 8×10 and 16×20 sizes.
Club Funding
Each Troop has a Team Link for the Vista de Nada General Store and makes a 10% club commission on all sales made through the link. The 10% commissions are intended to pay for local club liability insurance and club operating costs.
Clubs with certified instructors run local BLS and aviation training, which provides incomes for their instructors as well as profits for the club.
Manager Training
Mojave Ranger School provides free training for managers who want to establish a local club. Club Managers are required to complete the Ranger Basic, Leadership and C&GS training, which takes 2-3 years depending on the prospective manager’s starting experience.
This free apprenticeship program trains Club Managers in all aspects of Mojave Ranger School operations while helping managers build their own for-profit franchise from the ground up.
The Mojave Ranger training system is free to use and camping and training at Mojave Station is free for trainees and their families.
Money is a Side-Effect of this Business
The goal with this business is to use publishing to pay for a weekend Live-Action Fallout: New Vegas game that people can play for free while they learn real-world outdoor skills as well as how to develop their own local game in their own neighborhoods.
Trainees can get discounted manuals, airsoft guns and gear and a variety of wasteland goods directly from wasteland vendors, which creates an income stream for our vendors while saving money for trainees.
