Welcome to Mojave Ranger School.
I’m ready to start bringing people onboard the Mojave Ranger School and there’s some things I could use your help with if you’re interested.
The Offer
I have 6 (of 10) positions available on the Mojave Ranger Media, LLC Field Manual publishing team. I’m splitting the author’s royalty between the 10 positions.I have no idea how many copies of the Field Manuals and Task Books we can sell, but there’s several of each that will be available over the next year.
PIO Team Royalty
Mojave Ranger Media, LLC pays a 10% royalty on all the publishing products paid into a cooperative account for the PIO Team, which pays out rank-based royalties monthly. The goal is to use the Field Manuals, classic novels and video projects to train the PIO Team.PIO Team members can make a 20% commission as an independent outside sales rep.
PIO Team members are 1099 contract employees who have a non-exclusive contract with Mojave Ranger Media, LLC to publish and sell their own books and media. Business training is included in the PIO Basic Course.
Startup Staff Needed
Mojave Ranger Media, LLC needs help with photos and videos, help managing the cameras as well as on-camera talent.Mojave Ranger School also needs various instructors, assistant instructors (no experience necessary), classroom assistants, event assistants, carpool drivers, etc. if any of that sounds fun.
Classes in November/December
I’ll be running some basic first aid, radio and milsim classes in a couple weeks to shoot video, even if no students show up. The goal is to be running live-stream classes from the ranger station site in January.Live-Stream Training from Mojave Ranger Station
The PIO Team manages live-stream training, news and war correspondent reports from Mojave Ranger Station during the weekend games and trainings.
Nonprofits and For-Profits
The Mojave Ranger School is now officially registered as a nonprofit and all our classes and camping are free for registered trainees. The Field Manuals, Task Books and classic novels are published through Mojave Ranger Media, LLC.
100% of the net profit from the training manuals goes to operating expenses for the remote training and Ranger Training Teams.
Mojave Ranger Media, LLC is a wholly-owned for-profit subsidiary publishing company that produces training media, wasteland tech nonfiction and wasteland fiction novels and short story collections.
Mojave Ranger Media, LLC sponsors several shops at the Village of Vista de Nada and publishing and video crews can also make sales commissions and get paid for other tasks through the LLC.
The businesses are separated to protect the Fallout IP, and nothing with the Fallout brand gets sold for profit.
