PIO Team is a separate career track under the Mojave Ranger School Public Information Officer. PIO’s who want to embed with the Ranger or Opfor teams are required to complete the Station and Patrol Base phases of the Ranger Basic Course.
The PIO Team has 4 departments managed by Lead Producers; Web, Multi-media, Video and Books. Producers are in charge of an article, show episode, comic, catalog or other project. Assistant Producers manage production chores for Producers and Interns are there to learn the system.
